ABOUT US

Janet Jackson, GISP President/Owner Janet Jackson, GISP, Owner

Janet Jackson, GISP became enthralled with GIS after seeing the possibilities of its problem-solving abilities. While working in Facilities Management at Duke University, Janet learned firsthand about mapping infrastructure in a GIS.  It was that on-the-job training that nudged Janet to earn a degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in geography with a GIS focus and a minor in information systems. She is certified as a GIS Professional and heads INTERSECT™ GIS activities company-wide.

CE News, GeoWorld and Professional Surveyor magazine include Intersect in their monthly features column. The articles are available on our website. Check them out!
